Adam Smith International’s global development work is all about making a tangible difference to the lives of citizens in the countries where they work. So the key objective for their new website – built as part of a brand refresh – was to find a way to show the effect of their work, and to do this in a visual and interactive way.
So we planned, designed and built the site around the hero content: a remarkable range of over 250 projects spanning the planet. Users navigate these via an interactive project showcase, allowing users to explore within regions and sectors relevant to them and truly see the impact that Adam Smith International delivers on a global scale.
Built on Expression Engine, it’s fully responsive site so works across all devices. As Adam Smith International’s stakeholders live in almost every country in the world, accessibility was essential so we included a low-bandwidth option to cater for those accessing from remote regions with limited connectivity.
