The new Cable & Wireless Worldwide global website has now gone live. Well done to all the team involved. The website was developed to represent to very distinct business units, read our full case study here. We are continuing work with Cable & Wireless Worldwide on an incremental development plan for their website - ensuring ongoing enhancements and improvements to their site are implemented based on a close analysis of usage and results.

Last night Base One were the proud winners of a Silver award for the Best Use of Search for client Hitachi, at the prestigious DMA awards. Up against some of the big named B2C players, we had one of the very few B2B entries that got through to the finals. Well done all.

Rackspace are fanatical about support, and they wanted people to understand what it felt like to go without fanatical support. So that's why they sent out Wilson. Those who have seen Castaway, will be familiar with the ball that washed up with the Tom Hanks character and became his only friend. Without Wilson, you could feel as alone as Chuck did!

JLT launched their new branded website on the 6 July.
Earlier this year, JLT decided to review their brand and their positioning in the market place. And following this piece of work, JLT embarked on an identity refresh to reflect their new brand promise of the Distinctive Choice.
Base One was asked to help JLT through this process, specifically to realise the new brand strategy across all of JLT's digital assets.
A particular challenge was to realise the new identity within the current structure of the website, to avoid substantial redevelopment costs. A new home page design was also required to better reflect the broad range of growing content available through the group website.

British Gas Business launched their energy management product, Energy360 in May 2009 at Sustainability Live (19th - 21st May) at the NEC, Birmingham.
