A brand new look, improved functionality and a user-friendly interface make JLT’s new site reach out to the masses


The challenge

JLT, the largest European provider of services including insurance, risk management and employee benefit administration, needed a complete website redevelopment to make it easier for users to find information on their large, complex and outdated website.  

To consider their expectations, understand the role of the site in the business (both now and in the future), plus discuss content, functionality and ideas, Base One ran workshops with the many stakeholders from each of the business units.

From this, we developed a web strategy, design, copywriting, and a system to enable the client to manage the site content.

The solution

The new JLT website presents a powerful global brand to users in a simple, user-friendly and highly functional format.

Tags are selected for relevant categories and document types when new content is added – enabling users to filter or quickly locate ‘relevant document’ links on certain pages.

While feed boxes enable the client to dynamically flow in content, ensuring the site is always relevant and up-to-date.
