ISIS is a private equity company investing in ambitious entrepreneurs and businesses valued between £5m and £75m.
To increase their presence in the industry, ISIS asked Base One Group to review their website to reorganise and provide extras content, simplify the structure and make relevant information more accessible.
One of the goals was to use the website to show the public that Isis was still investing in people, even during a troubled economic climate.
For a clearer layout, the formatting and aesthetics were revitalized, bringing a brighter look to each page and by placing more technical data on PDF's rather than in the content, following a policy of "less is more".
This minimalist approach also allowed a greater flexibility on adding content and navigating to related downloads or links without the user having to search through a cluttered page of irrelevant subject matter.
ISIS as a business was founded on the basis of sustained human interaction. Without continuous co-operation and the sense of a business friendship neither the investor nor entrepreneur can feel safe in the development and progress of their company. To reinforce this core value, Base One set up a series of seven-minute interviews with key people from Isis' portfolio companies discussing their inspirations, past successes and hopes for the coming years with Nik Wood, a presenter of BBC 2's ‘Working Lunch'.
